I installed this heater along with a basic honeywell thermostat in my bedroom. I live in an old home, so heating is a pain. Being only 1000 watts, it doesn't heat super fast, but I can definitively say that it can get and maintain a much more comfortable room temp than the fan forced heater it replaced. Being that it is mounted onto the wall, it is completely out of the way. The unit seems well made and so far I haven't had any issues with it. Even when the thermostat turns it on full heat, it is silent And makes no creaking sounds. The quiet even heat is absolute bliss when I lay down to rest for the night. I had gotten use to fan heaters so much that now it is almost eerie how quiet the room is. With my experience having this heater, im going to be buying more of their heaters.
