Return Policy

To return your order, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu, and click the "Return Item(s)" button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You must create a Return Request through the website prior to returning the order. Refunds and store credits will not be processed for unapproved returns.

The Following Items May Be Returned For A Refund:

  • Wrong items shipped (incorrectly filled item on customer order) that cannot be replaced with correct item. Notification must be provided within 3 business days of receipt of order.
  • Out-of-box defective/damaged. Notification must be provided within 3 business days of receipt of order. Items will be tested to confirm defect.

The Following Items May Be Returned For Store Credit:

  • Unwanted items that have NOT been removed from the original packaging, returned 7 days from the date of receipt.
  • Unwanted items that have NOT been installed or used, and that is still in new, unused condition. This means no scratches, marks, blemishes, dirt, debris, or any other signs of installation or use, returned 7 days from the date of receipt.

The Following Items May Not Be Returned:

  • Unwanted items that have been installed, used, or modified in any way (unless manufacturer defective).
  • Unwanted items not in the original packaging. All paperwork, instructions must be included and box must be in original condition.
  • Unwanted items over 7 days from the date the order is received, to the date the order is postmarked for return.
  • Unwanted items under $10.00.
  • Unwanted orders containing 5 or more items or an order having an invoice total greater than $150.
  • Defective items over 30 days from the date the order is received, to the date the order is postmarked for return. Any defect found after 30 days of delivery must be addressed with manufacturer.
  • Defective items that have been connected to electricity or plumbing.
  • Hazardous, electrical, plumbing, safety, testing, or industrial items.
  • Items unable to be resold.
  • Special order items, or any item that we determine unable to return.

Return Labels:

It is the responsibility of the buyer to return any order that has been approved for return.  We do not provide shipping labels, however we may provide a return concession at our discretion.  Return shipping refunds or concessions are not guaranteed.


You may write Return To Sender on the original shipping label at your discretion. Be advised, we take no responsibility for merchandise while being returned. Buyer assumes all responsibility of merchandise until it has been received by, and is in our possession.

Restocking Fee:

A store credit will be provided for all approved returns within 10 business days from the date of receipt of return. A "reasonable restocking fee" will be deducted for items that have been returned as "Unwanted." "Reasonable restocking fee" includes the cost of order processing, invoicing, packaging, postage/freight, handling, return processing, return invoicing, and customer service to facilitate the process, the cost of which is not less that 40% of the price of the order invoice, or $10.00, whichever is greater.

Example 1 - Order invoice is $100.00 and a customer seeks to return the order.  The total overhead cost incurred by us to invoice, process, ship, return, and communicate with the customer is approximately $10.00, and the cost of postage and packaging is approximately $20.00 for this particular order.  Thus, the total cost of delivering the customer's order is $30.00, which is lower than the minimum 40% Restocking Fee.  $40 would be deducted from the approved refund.  The store credit provided would be $60.00 in this example.

Example 2 - Order invoice is $20.00 and a customer seeks to return the order.  The total overhead cost incurred by us to invoice, process, ship, return, and communicate with the customer is approximately $10.00, and the cost of postage and packaging is approximately $3.00 for this particular order.  Thus, the total cost of delivering the customer's order is $13.00, which is greater than the minimum 40% Restocking Fee.  $13 would be deducted from the approved refund.  The store credit provided would be $7.00 in this example.

Example 3 - Order invoice is $5.00 and a customer seeks to return the order.  The total overhead cost incurred by us to invoice, process, & ship is approximately $3.00, (the return process adds $7.00 in cost) and the cost of postage and packaging is approximately $3.00 for this particular order.  Thus, the total cost of delivering the customer's order is actually higher than the invoice amount, and we are taking a loss because we only profit when we sell in bulk.  The return would be denied due to a minimum Restocking Fee of $10.00.

Example 4 - Order invoice is $100.00 and a customer seeks to return the order.  The total overhead cost incurred by us to invoice, process, ship, return, and communicate with the customer is approximately $10.00, and the cost of postage and packaging is approximately $20.00 for this particular order.  The item is returned and found to be opened and slightly scuffed, such that it appears used.  The item does not qualify for any refund.  The buyer is welcome to arrange pickup of the item(s) that do not qualify for a refund.

Undeliverable Packages:

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure an accurate shipping and/or forwarding address in accordance with the Terms of Use.  Any order returned by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or any other courier without prior Return Authorization by Home Repair Parts will not be refunded under any circumstances.  In addition, any arrangements to reship are at the sole expense of the buyer, including, but not limited to, any additional processing and handling costs as a result of reshipping the order.  All transactions are considered complete and final upon delivery attempt.

Packaging Disclaimer:

All items are purchased in bulk directly from the manufacturer, and therefore do not include retail blister packaging or instructions, unless specifically stated in the listing.
